Vision and Mission

“A student faith group created with the intention of fostering Muslim students’ connection with one another and within the wider Hopkins, Baltimore and Maryland community.”

We promote interaction and communication among members of the Johns Hopkins community by organizing events and initiatives that increase understanding, education, and appreciation of Islam, and faith in general. We are dedicated to the messages of peace, tolerance, environmental stewardship, community service, health, and human rights. The JHGMSA is open to all.

JHGMSA Constitution

The JHGMSA constitution serves as the foundational document outlining the principles, structure, and procedures of the John Hopkins Graduate Muslim Student Association. It delineates the organization's mission, objectives, and governance framework, including the roles and responsibilities of its members and executive board. Moreover, the constitution articulates guidelines for sustainability and membership expectations in accordance with our core values.

JHGMSA E-Board

JHGMSA is operated by a dedicated group of members from the John Hopkins community, each fulfilling various roles such as treasurer, community service chair, halaqa coordinator, and more. Our e-board actively organizes events for the community. If you have any feedback for our e-board, please don't hesitate to email us. Additionally, we conduct elections at the end of the year to select new e-board members. If you're ever interested in joining our e-board, keep an eye out in May for application opportunities!

If interested in contacting representatives of the student organization,
